What they needed

Farm Kitchen is a Mediterranean cafe in Southsea. They were opening up in the evenings for meals and needed a look and a website that made the new offering feel like a proper night out, not an afterthought.

What I did

I started with the branding: their existing logo had a K that read as an h from a distance and wording too small to survive print, so I redesigned it with a modern typeface, leaf mark and two greens, with a variant for the evening side that still sat comfortably alongside the daytime cafe. Then I designed a stylish, rustic one-page website around it: the story, the food, the opening hours and how to book, all in one scroll.

A one-page site suits a place like this. People want to know what’s on, when, and where. Nothing gets in the way of that.

I host and support the site, so new menus go up as they change.
