What they needed
Influx Measurements make measurement instruments near Winchester. Their web agency issued an end-of-life notice, so the site had to move within weeks. Ethan’s definition of success was plain: product pages and downloads live, and a working contact form.
What I did
I moved the site to my hosting and found the catalogue had not come with it. Products, brands and datasheets lived in a custom system written years ago, which a standard move does not pick up. I got a database export from the outgoing agency, restored all 23 products, then fixed three faults from the old build: a broken database connection, image handling so dated that security tools blocked it, and product URLs that had stopped working.
Email sending and the contact form come next, then a rebrand-led rebuild is the sensible conversation.
What they said
Ethan: “I appreciate the work you’ve put into helping us out of this situation.”
