Client: Stopham Vineyard
Sector: English vineyard, e-commerce
Year: 2022–2026
Website: stophamvineyard.co.uk

What they needed

Stopham wanted to sell bottles and cases of wine online, with a site that showed off the vineyard properly. Later, a routine product-add request showed the site had never had any real SEO.

What I did

I designed and built the e-commerce website in 2022 and I’ve hosted and looked after it on a support plan ever since. When the SEO gap surfaced I audited the homepage: no SEO plugin, junk meta descriptions, eight H1 tags and no site schema.

So I ran a full rescue. Yoast SEO installed and configured, an Organisation set-up so Google knows who the business is, then SEO titles and descriptions across every page and product. The sample and tour-booking pages that had no business in search results were set to noindex.

What they said

“This looks amazing! It really is a big improvement on what we currently have. The site looks clean, stylish and easy to navigate. Bravo. Thank you for putting in so much time for us. We are enormously grateful.”
